What to do if you get a red tag?

What do you do if you receive a red tag from your gas provider? Our local gas fitters are certified to service and repair gas line leaks that have been red tagged. Just give us a call and let us know what the situation is and we will come out as soon as we can. Your gas provider can legally shut off your gas if you do not correct the problem or fix a gas line leak before the given date. We give red warning tags high priority to ensure that your gas remains on.

Warning Tags Explained:

If you have received one of these tags from your gas provider it means that the gas line or a gas appliance has been deemed unsafe.

Warning A: This means that your appliance or gas line is an immediate danger and your gas has been shut off. Until a gas technician rectifies the problem, you will not be able to turn your gas on.

Warning B: This means that your gas line or gas appliances need repairs but it is not an immediate danger. You will have 35 days from the day the tag was issued to correct the problem.

In both cases our technicians will solve the problem and make sure that everything is up to code. We will then send the completed work form to your gas provider to make sure that your gas will not be shut off.
